This allows for you to cook larger food on the flat side, such as steaks, and then reverse the grill for smaller more delicate food on the sharp edged surface.  We also like the fact that the grill hood has a nice handle that stays cool to the touch despite the high temperatures reached on the grill.

If you are looking for a permanently positioned grill or a portable gas grill then this will do a great job.  We would also recommend purchasing the additional connection hose for a large gas cylinder at the same time, as the standard small gas cylinders can get a bit expensive.
