Whilst reviewing the Weber 386002 Q 100 Portable Propane Gas Grill we have decided that it is worth a high product value score from us for the following reasons.  This portable grill is really handy when you need a mobile solution and the grill is easy to move around with its two end handle, is easy to clean and has a decent size cooking area for such a small versatile product.  The grilling area will accommodate a family of four easily, but for larger sittings you’re going to need to have several cooking sessions. The grill produces a good amount of even heat which is evenly distributed over the heavy cast iron grate.  We would recommend brushing it with oil prior to any use and make sure that your clean it thoroughly whilst the grill is still hot to remove any residual food wastes.  The electronic ignition starter is a great value add-on to this small grill and save s the hassle of trying to light it manually.

Overall the outlook on this Weber 386002 grill is very positive however we feel that we should point a few things out to aid with your buying decision.  It is quite easy to clean this grill although if you want to make life a bit easier for your self its recommended that you line the bottom of the grill with a sheet of  aluminum foil to allow the quick clean up afterwards.    You will always need to run the grill for at least 10 minutes before attempting to cook any food.  This allows enough time for the heat to get into the cast iron grates.

The power can easily be controlled but be warned there is only one temperature control for this unit so it is either on or off.  And its not really suitable to be used in high wind conditions as this really effects the flames when trying to cook.

This is a great little grill and if you are looking for the convenience of a portable grill with the power of gas fired cooking.  Assembly is really super easy and in case your wondering where its gone the grill is normally stored under a piece of cardboard at the bottom of the box.

We love the cast iron grill that comes with this product ass standard as it has good even heat distribution for efficient cooking of meats and still maintains a cooler outer area for keeping food warm still.

Pop the lid down for juicy steaks and burgers that taste fantastic.  And don’t worry about using to much gas as this does a lot of cooking on even a small tank of gas and the grilling area will easily accommodate a hungry family of four.
